Interesting you should bring him up as I was thinking he would be an ideal replacement for Ryan Brooke.

According to my mate who played with him at Sheffield uni, Ken McKenna offered Tom a temporary deal to play for Alty during our last 3 months in the conference, however he turned it down and is now living Australia.

I thought he just got released and signed there. Maybe (like Colin Little) he enjoyed it so much he stayed there, despite the fact he is playing at a lower level than he is capable.
