Winning the home games and drawing the away ones should still see us sneak into the play offs ... but it's going to be a very big ask.
I've resigned myself now but I've still got a glimmer of hope that I'm clinging on to. Come on you Robins 👍

I'd go with that if Isaac is out.
This really is a must win or we can forget the play offs until next year.

Has PP reached the ceiling of his ability? He has been learning on the job for a long time. We need an ex-league manager who can not only take us up but also keep us up.

We don’t need statements like this.
The problem is simply that we are short of first team quality squad players. Only one decent striker (now suspended) no really quality replacements for our key players.
We know this and so does Parky..
We're probably not ready to go up yet but we will finish in an improved league position this year and with a mini-clear-the-decks and good recruitment over the close season we'll be even better next year.

What struck me most about the interview is how big his forehead is.

Huge

Thought Exeter went back to Metalunar! 😉

He still strikes me as a dodgy used car salesman. A sort of young Arthur Daley.

I think the difference is that we don't have it as the main plank of our plan A game plan as they seem to do.

Needs to be as near as possible to our first eleven - including Ethan - a big performance, big crowd cheering us on, and three points!

I thought Maxi was on loan at FGR? Must have ended then eh? We could do with him back for a bit at the moment.

Yes. At least a point on Saturday and half a dozen from Dorking and Woking is the minimum we'll need to get in the play off picture.
Not saying we'll get it mind you 😏

Don't know why, but I fancy us to get three points from this one. Hope so anyway! 😉

Dackers got an assist for the equaliser I think.

Sadly, an RIP.
Still remember him from the CSC final vs Witton when, as a youngster, he was part of strolling Ken Barnes's side along with (Peter?) Mellor.

If we lose the next two (away), and we easily could, hope will surely start to fade. It already has for me 😕
You never should write off the Supers though!
Come on you Super Robins make us believe again! 🇦🇹🤞

Thanks Amsterdam! I'm blaming you for that! 😂😂
Seriously though, shocked by the self inflicted problems we've generated with switching about.
All the good tension I'd been holding in has dissipated and I can just settle back and enjoy us being top half. 🙄😒

Some context re. tomorrow's visitors, courtesy of the splendid John Laidlar:

"It's now four defeats on the spin in the league for Alan Devonshire's men, who briefly rekindled hopes of a play-off charge earlier this month... Since then, missed chances and misfortune have afflicted the team at a crucial juncture of the season, with the side losing a game they should have handsomely won at Boreham Wood before going down to a 2-1 defeat in the 98th minute at FC Halifax Town last week.

Saturday's 3-1 loss to Oldham Athletic and last night's 2-1 loss to Southend United were much more disappointing performances and few could argue they deserved anything from either contest.

United briefly came to life towards the end of the first half, when Kevin Lokko rose well to head home Sam Barratt's free kick to make it 1-1, but generally, they were second best to a Shrimpers side who started the night four points below them in the National League table....

Devonshire's men hav[e] failed to score more than one goal in all but one of their last 12 matches, now 13. It means that whenever they fall behind, there's a general unease about whether they have the firepower to get back into a game."
0-4 to them it is then

I usually like your witticisms AA but don't even think that! 😉
