Is that James Black in the Alty shirt nearest to the camera?

It caused this!

Classic picture that, James loved the club.  You can't beat a big goal in the Conference on the road, Dale Johnson with his winner at York was special but when its down the big smoke its something different I reckon.

And the bloke covering the LO in the LONDON ALTY sign goes everywhere....fair play to the lad.

I was in Devon with the family for that game, remember getting the result on my nokia...family holidays heh

Alty 4-3 Rushden & Diamonds  96/97

A real see-saw game that culminated in us coming back from 3-2 down to win 4-3 with two late goals. A great start to a tragic season.

Ahhh the one where the Rushden keeper blasted a kick at Stuart Terry's back and it went back into the goal, lovely hot August day too
