He said on Twitter he was sick yersterday morning so guess it was due to that.

i'd forgotten about the gloves.  Was it nippy in Alty on Saturday?  Shorts weather here in York but you never know.

Not really. Aside from the keepers he was the only player wearing gloves. Maybe if he was feeling rough, he felt colder than it actually was?

I would have thought that if a player is declaring to the cyber world via his twitter account that he is a touch under the weather he shouldn't be too surprised that the Manager of his team, already missing players, would be reluctant to start him and then him only last a short time
