Some on here wanted rid of Reeves in late August........to quote one of our frequent correspondents......."far too lightweight for a striker in this league".........others on here gave him a chance :)
-
Couldn't understand the criticism of him personally. Always struck me as a willing worker, decent pace and an eye for a goal. Even in that sh*t first few weeks he found the net a couple of times.
Anyway, further proof that players need time to settle before being judged. Nicky Clee is another prime example.

he's decent, he just needs to bloody stop being offside 476584938 times a game.

I've told you a million times not to exaggerate. Its 476584841 times per game!

The fact he gets caught off side is in truth a good sign that reeves is running the line and playing off the last man. If he keeps it up he will (at least once in a match) get the timing right and be one on one.

Agree.

I'll own up to being one of those who wrote him off. In fairness though, he was pretty awful before Christmas and didn't look like he could last 90 minutes.
-
being fair we were pretty awful before christmas as a whole!
-
Well done Damian, keep up the good work!
-
Reevesy is a class act, we'd be dead and buried without him this season, more of the same please!

I think that was because he hadn't been playing regularly!
-
I'm on record way back in September as saying he'd reach double figures this season - well done Damien.
-
good poachers goal at the far post tonight

As an ex striker myself I can assure you it is NOT a good sign for a striker to keep getting cought offside!

It never harmed Filippo Inzaghi being offside all the time.
