Bugger!
King George V is famously credited with uttering the words "Bugger Bognor". Let's make sure we do.

Bognor is actually a lovely little seaside town.
It is still an hour and a half from me and about 50 miles. A lot closer than Alty but you have motorways all the way.

Robert it is a tremendouus dump of a resort, you're either easily pleased or suffering from memory loss. Stony beach, Butlins and a crappy town centre. Arundel nearby is recommended for a drink.

There'll be a few low attendances if a few of these ties go to replays.

Fisher in the trophy in the late 80s anyone?

Well I guess there is less chance of seeing Hamilton increasing the crowd tomorrow, as Corbyn getting into No 10!!!!!
But I know if we get to Bogner, God willing I will be there.

No we can't. We could no doubt ask Wrexham & if they were agreeable approach the League, but we can't cancel off our own bat. In any event, as this is a re-arranged fixture & we agreed the date the League is unlikely to look kindly on any such application, even if Wrexham (who are of course also in the Trophy but have a larger squad to choose from & may not rank the competition that highly on their priority list) were prepared to shift date.

The draw has been very kind to the Conference National.

We could well have 14 of the 16 clubs in the 3rd Round being from the National.

There's absolutely no problem with playing a game on Tuesday and then at the weekend, we do it all the time.

If however, a pair of our players are f**king stupid enough to get themselves sent of in said midweek game and rule themselves out of the Trophy clash then yes it is a problem, however it would be our fault, nothing to do with scheduling.

And for the record I think if Wrexham have got any pretensions at all about making the play offs then putting back the fixture for the benefit of our trophy progression (and theirs too I guess) would be an absolute no go.
