Frankly, I'm amazed that some Daily Star buyers can actually write.

The letter says

Premier league clubs are charging ridiculous amounts of money for season tickets. I advise everyone to dump them and follow non league football instead. My season ticket at Altrincham cost £160. For that i get to watch real football from terraces, free entry to all the pre season friendlies and a guaranteed ticket for the big FA cup games. This is football as it was in the good old days.

This was a response to an article in the paper last week about season ticket prices for premier league clubs.

i think it was all well as im sure the club would make sure all season ticket holders recieved tickets to a big fa cup game and not just let them go to ppl who just want to see big name players and couldn't be arsed about altrincham fc
