I don't think weymouth's situation is any different to the inevitable one side who goes into freefall in February and doesn't pick up another point and gets relegated on the number of points they had in January.

This club is normally Altrincham!

So I think all this talk is a little petty....it's tough, live with it.....If Woking were in the Trophy final I'm sure they would play a weakened team the week before and not care about the advantage they were giving their opponents.

Whilst its not exactly fair on Woking et al (even us who got beat by them) I cant see whats wrong with it, providing they registered the kids in time to play etc, not that there will be any points gained to deduct.

Vics have basically done the same thing except they used southerners instead of under 18's.

Unless there is a rule saying you have to provide suitable opposition to all other teams in the league I dont see anything wrong with it. I think Woking should be more worried about the same thing happening to them in the near future.

Have simpathy with his comments but this is the way things are so have to live with them. It is like clubs going into debt and buying players they cant afford.

The sooner a wage cap comes into play and the requirement of say something like Solvency Margins are used this will always happen.

Woking are panicing and realising that relegation this season is a real threat to them already.
I remember the sarcastic comments from Woking fans on the first day of the season "Alty, who is going to save you this season?"
I said at the time - "not Woking as they will finish bottom". I couldnt see them finishing above us even before the season started, as they are the worse team that I have seen over the past 4 seasons.
There are only 2 reasons why I would want Woking to stay up
1. Alty SHOULD be getting 6 points off them evey season.
2. Along with Crawley its my nearest away ground
