The world's worst football shirt?
« on: February 21, 2009, 08:54:04 PM »

What on earth was happening with that Woking substitute who came on wearing that humiliating No. 41 shirt?

He had no name on the back of his shirt and it looked like he had embroidered the number 41 on the rear of his shirt himself....or even scribbled it on using a marker pen.

The credit crunch has obviously hit Woking harder than we had imagined....

Not unless Ghanaians have suddenly become white. Apparantly he is called Joe McNerney.

It was actually made out of insulation tape (borrowed from Alty) he only signed yesterday and the ref insisted he had a number on his shirt.
Btw Rafo hitting the 4th official with the ball made my day :D :D :D

it is actually mcannanwhich  is a well known ghanaian name from the upper volta region . a small enclave of irish decent who took the queens shilling to drop the mc
hence the former head of the UN was  known as Irish Kofi.
