one of the many things that get me about Macc is that they are in a false position as a league team - they do not have the support base or the finances to sustain league football, and now chickens are coming home to roost. Not paying taxes, their manager and their players is a disgrace and a club like that does not deserve league football - they are the authors of their own downfall because they spent money they have not got to get back into the football league.
In comparision, we are on a financially sound footing, and if we do get in a position to go for promotion to the Football League, which I believe we will, we have a growing fanbase and bags of potential to grow more and I think we would be fine. As I have been saying for years - we are a bigger club than Macc and always have been.
Another thing i really hate about Macc is their mini 'firm' which comprises of about 3 40 something year old fat saddos who should know better, and about 20 15 to 17 year olds who can't hold their drink. I wonder how they are getting on steaming into the home fans bars at the likes of Grimsby, Swindon, Carlisle, Crewe, Bradford City and Plymouth. I sm sure they are tearing it up every where they go
