It's comforting to hear we did everything we could to keep him - including exploring a permanent deal.
Before the inevitable glumfest begins, I firmly believe we're all the richer for him having been here.
Aaron Bennett loan to replace him would be nice.
-
Thanks Chris, you've been a pleasure to watch. Kept us well entertained and helped gain points for the team.
Good Luck
-
He's been great for us.
Thanks for the memories Chris and all the best for your future wherever it may take you.
-
Plenty of passion playing in the red and white shirt.
Been a pleasure to watch.
All the best Chris.
Gutting to see three quality players leave in a short space of time, unfortunately expected and only one of those belonged to us.
If we keep PP and Neil then Con-Clarke will be back in a year or two.
-
So long Chris and thanks for giving us your full commitment . Top player , the winner against Halifax will live long in the memory .
-
Thank you Chris for all your efforts whilst wearing an Alty shirt. Best wishes for your future career. You were a pleasure to watch.
Now the Board and management team at Alty FC must ensure that we don’t undo all the great work and achievements that the players have achieved so far this season isn’t wasted.
We need to keep progressing and maintain a strong fanbase week in week out especially at home games.
We do not want to bumble along hoping we don’t get sucked into the relegation battle. The players and fans do not deserve that.
Onwards & Upwards…
-
Thanks C C-C and all the best for the future.....especially if some of that is at the JD!
-
The one other thing I am grateful for on Saturday, despite the result, was that I was able to go up to Chris in the CSH after the game, shake his hand and personally thank him for all he has done for our club. I told him I had really enjoyed watching him and wished him all the best in his future career.
Really glad I did that.

Good on you; I would have loved to have done that.
I hope to God we get to see him in an Alty shirt again.

Great stuff , and your words and actions represent the feelings of all of us . Good man you 👌

Aye well done Steve
-
All credit to the board for their efforts. An incredibly gifted player who is capable of playing at a much higher level. I hope his parent club maintain his development

Fleetwood have signed two forwards today . Will be interesting to see if ccc is involved in their next game

I’ll go and pick CCC up and bring him back if he’s no longer needed at Fleetwood.
-
he'll be going elsewhere; it's a big jump between playing well at conference midtable level and league 1.
-
It's been a pretty depressing couple of weeks being an alty fan
Good luck Chris you will be missed

Might need more mini eggs to soften tbe blow

He's earned himself a new and improved deal at Fleetwood. Really pleased for him.

Great news for the lad, well done CCC

So the loan to Waterford may still be on then...

So the loan to Waterford may still be on then...
Would suggest it stops him being poached by other clubs, Fleetwood wont want huim going cheap

As predicted, CCC joins Waterford on loan:

Confirmed as joining Waterford on loan.
What a waste

It really is- he will be playing against some teams who are no better than Trafford. The fact that his family are presumably only three hours away may have come in to it .
-
It's more likely that he and Barry Baggley have been press-ganged into this move. Remember that Fleetwood's money man owns BOTH clubs, and has big targets for Waterford.
-
what on earth is he going to learn at waterford that he wouldn't have learned at altrincham? precisely nothing.

That's what happened to their budgerigar!
-
Was pleased about his contract extension, but annoyed by this loan deal. He'll make a mockery of that league.
No wonder we wanted to try and save him.
His missus is heavily pregnant, seemed to love being a part of the Alty family herself, and I assume she'd be this side of the pond... is this what he'd REALLY want?
-
CCC and Barry Baggley scored Waterford's goals in a 2-0 win today.
-
ccc on the bench for Waterford tonight maybe a Colclough type slow start
