John Laidlar: But they got the winner seven minutes from time when Saunders did well to beat out a rare Sills shot only for Griffin to tap in the loose ball
BBC: Scott Laird set up Tim Sills to shoot, and when Saunders spilled the ball it fell to substitute Griffin to tap in.

and who do we believe?

I was on the 18yd line on the pop side (near the Golf Road end) so maybe not best positioned to see but it looked like Saunders coughed it up.

Ditto - shame, because he'd had a good game till then. I'm sorry to say that I think Stu would have held it, but to be fair to the lad it isn't easy to come into a game like that when you've been warming the bench for weeks.

Certainly looked like saunders spilled it. He had made a couple decent saves before then, and looked quite comfortable. Although his kicking from goal kicks still needs urgent work.

I think John Laidler is being polite here. Saunders had a fairly decent game on the whole but probably should've held the initial shot leading upto the goal.

Yes Saunders spilled the ball , but it happenes to the best of them , Stu has spilled a few over the years , otherwise kept goal well

Just a slight defence of Saunders here, if he did spill it, I know (because I have a pair) that those Sensport gloves don't have the best grip in the world on them
