Oxford United go Bust! – Pontoon Update

Oxford United might be flying high at the top of the Blue Square Premier but for Dave Tracey their scoring exploits are bad news as his team in the pontoon competition has now gone bust. On 23 goals they have exceeded the target of 21 to reap the 1st prize of £100.
Leading the way now is Mark & Stuart (Notts County) with 20 goals and Bryan Ford (Dagenham & Redbridge) with 19 goals but with no league programme this week it gives Ernie Welch a chance to pinch the prize when his team, Mansfield Town (on 18 goals) take on Oxford tonight. Also on 18 goals are Colin Little (Charlton Athletic) and Martin Jordan (Huddersfield).
Watch this space as the competition comes to a conclusion.....................

Perhaps so, but did I win last week's attendance guess? I recollect I was only 13 out!

I'm quite confident Huddersfield will beat Stockport 3 1 at home next weekend to win me the money!

Get a couple of bets on county to score 0,1,2,4+ goals and get a profit. If they score 3, £100 easy :-)
