Thats a p**s take, but if we were able to produce match badges on the cheap for each game at (say) 50p cost and sell 100 per game at £1 each thats 50p x 100 = £50 profit per match and, if we play 40 games per season that is £2k.

Any thoughts?

I see your point but it's wishful thinking to expect to sell 100 badges per game for every game we play.

Yes, you'd have a massive badge sale at the end of the year with 98 available from each home game..reduced to clear.

Ecky is right , certainly for Alty, some clubs do produce badges on a regular basis and the collectors lap them up, AFCW produce a metal badge for every game amazingly with both clubs laid out plus date, and they sell at £3.50 I think!!!

I presume from the fact that the quantity is 2 that he/she just makes a couple cheaply of each one and if say 6 people bid for them he makes 6 and sells them off.

I must admit that I love the Alty badges and always look out for new ones!
The Centenary one and the Wembley one are my favourites.
I really feel we should do a few more of them (not on a matchly basis of course - perhaps each seaon?)

Does this make me an old Alty Saddo?*

*Of course it does, Saughall, you silly old sod  :D
