I'd rather be on a long haul flight with Terry Christian on one side ……… and another Terry Christian on the other.

I'd rather be on a long haul flight with Buddy Holly.

I hear Cozy Powell is at a loose end these days.... ;D

I thought he was actually deceased ! Though not on the same flight as Buddy Holly.

Seriously, the appalling band at England matches that keeps striking up "The Great Escape" pi**es me off, let alone some numpty banging a drum in a mindless and repetitive manner within earshot while I'm undergoing my regular dose of ritual humiliation.

Quite simply, I'd stop going to Moss Lane !

I remember taking a big A.R.P. bell to Grantham in the FA cup in the late 60's!
And ringing it loudly as the three goals went in!

In my defence;
1) I was still a teenager in those far off days
2) It was snowing and I needed to keep warm (actually I was forced to stand at a slight crouch to prevent my kneecaps going up and down as my legs were so cold in the 2nd half        (Strange but true!)
3) There was a foot and mouth epidemic all over that part of the country at the time (not sure what that's got to do with it really)

Might I suggest the inimitable Ian Pace instead?

I was privileged to see Carl Palmer at Buxton Opera House earlier this year. A master craftsman, still looks good, and he's older than me (bastard !)
