Are you making the same splendid offer this year for the Kidderminster game as last year? The current Mrs Tracey is looking forward to the fantastic time we had last year!

For those who don't know Mr Gazelle and his staff were voted the Number 1 Carvery by the Tracey and Flynns after last year's gastronomic treat!

Given it is August I suspect we could have a "jamboree" turn-out this year!

I am posting this using DT's login I must confess that I am Mrs DT (as most of you know me) can I just say that tonight I am disgusted at the abuse we have received from the inbreeds of Timperley, may I thank our local landlord for showing the match and the Tracey's were out in our Alty shirts, my son and I were first hailed by a half wit with one brain cell screamin "Chelsea  Chelsea" until he realised we were wearing Alty shirts says it all really doesn't it! at the end Mr T and I then had to endure a barrage of abuse from dare I say it an "alleged" prawn sandwich eater, and an episolon  he obviously had flown back from the match on his Lear jet, now I must admit to being a bit of a United Fan but I am so proud of Alty and DT and I will still be there next season  but we have no chance of getting people to come to matches when they are all intermarried and half wits!

Altrincham FC First Team / New Flag - incorporating the Cheshire Flag
« on: April 11, 2008, 04:47:32 PM »
For those with long memories, you might just remember one of the original "Alty Flags" which was satin and was red/white/red with Altnicham across the middle. Well as some of you kno, the current Mrs Tracey transformed this to red/pink/red but the great thing was the lettering still survives to this day!

So a new flag is being worked on incorporating the Cheshire flag!

Given young Master Flynn has created the "daddy of all Alty flags", I thought this might be a refreshing change - what does everyone think.

In line with Ecky's thinking before tomorrow's big game, positive feedback is sought!

Hugh,

As has been said many times here, everybody is allowed a view.

I just thought for everone's sake... let us put this one to rest.

Digging up old incedents which I hoped have been long forgotten serves in nobody's best interests!

See you at Kidderminster then!

Hugh,

Your comments are not true and factually incorrect, can we put this one to rest please, the club and I have! The fact you have posted without being there means you are making up your own story (which you are certainly allowed to do!).

I certainly would not make comments about your family either, but if you would like to discuss the finer points of your post, please do not hesitate to speak to me at the CSC on Tuesday.

Come on Alty!

Louise,

Perhaps some good ones! Yesterday's perfomance didn't show any "shining lights!"

The young man turned to me and said "I am having a fit", luckily the senior steward was in vocal distance and the young man was dealt with in the correct procedure.

I was present in the bar and took responsibility for the young man from George Heslop who to that stage had accompanied the young man you refer to. The good news is I sat and went though his bets for the day and luckily despite an apparently dreadful day managed to win around £300 on his bets, of course the Torquay ones had no substance!

The sad thing is that a local taxi ripped him off for £25 from the station but the Alty Stewards rallied round to give the young man a lift to the Metro and hopefully safely to his hotel in Manchester... hope he enjoys Droylsden on Tuesday.

Despite some of the nonsense that went on today, thank goodness Alty retains its heart, passion and pride....enough said

Having sat in the main stand with Torquay fans who in terms of arrogance were only beaten by Oxford, I was proud of the lads, they fought, challenged and did themselves proud! Just wish "little" Chris had been given ten minutes longer, who knows what would have happened?

If we can do this against the first and second...... just imagine what we could do if we continue to believe?

Gazelle,

Following our telephone conversation, I can confirm that the current Mrs Tracey will be in attendance with myself for Friday and Saturday night!

If you can start to arrange the "mini bus" we are also up for that!

That flag is featured twice on the Official Euro 2004 DVD.Once in the Latvia v Germany game in Porto & also for the Czech Republic v Latvia game in Aveiro.Unfortunately it was stolen by some Germans after the Ghana v Czech Republic match in Cologne during World Cup 2006.The Daily Telegraph reported that "The Ghanaans supporters celebrated with some fans from Altrincham,Cheshire"!!!

Memo to Germans and Australians, we know that you are defeated in two world wars/seventh genration pikeys, thieves, rapists and bread stealers but stop stealing Alty flags the world over you stupid bastards.

Memo ends.

Ballers, I trust your contribution to the new flag was a considerable one given the Australian "gig" and your new-found solvency!
