Cambridge Lost....
« on: May 19, 2008, 03:56:35 PM »

Not that sad having read this from our old friend Mr Vessey:-

http://cambridgeunited.rivals.net/News/pgArticle.aspx?artid=13818_3582535&id=95

"Even with the top tier shut and the ground soon to be only half-full, it was an amazing sight for fans used to the visitations of Farsley Celtic and Altrincham". I know 42,000 at Wembley is a bit more than Alty took to the Abbey in January - but we're far from the worst supported side away from home. Seems Mr V has joined the queue having a go, still, see you again next season Christopher.

Chris Vessey seems to have it in for us full stop.

Sad little man.

"The most humbling sight was that of the tourists on the open top buses, clumsily videoing and taking pictures of these crazy English football fans drinking, singing and having the time of their lives. They had seen nothing like it before]. Many bemused locals couldn't believe the scenes"

Errrr, i'm pretty sure they could actually.  Living near Wembley they will probably be more than used to seeing large masses of fans drinking and singing in nearby pubs.  Alot more rowdy and louder than Cambridge as well!

The away followings from Cambridge at Moss Lane have hardly been astronomical! Arrogant T**t!

One of the questions he did not ask in his final paragraph:

WILL CAMBRIDGE UNITED BE ABLE TO PAY THEIR RENT NEXT SEASON?
