The run-in ...
« on: March 30, 2010, 02:12:17 PM »

My (hopeful) target for the season was 60 points (the original one, at the start, was 46!).
With the 4 wiped off due to Chester's demise that gives 56.
I must admit that after the fantastic season we've had I'd be "disappointed" at that (ungracious, I know).

If we can beat Kiddie or Cambridge and salisbury, there's still a chance isn't there?

We always pick up unlikely points being the unpredicatable Alty we all know and love so where do YOU think we'll pick up those points (or, indeed, where are the banana skins?)

I think all three of the games you mention are winnable, depending on how much the lads have got left in the tank.

I think 55 points plus would be fantastic. And I can't wait to see what damage a fully fit Dale Johnson can do on the Conference next season.

I'd go for 56 points, too, Saughall Robin. Two wins against the teams currently below us would be a great achievement given the current squad size. I'd love to see us nick a point against the big boys but they've all still got something to play for. My heart says yes but my head says no. 56 pts would be a fantastic achievement for the lads.

No. That's the attitude our up-coming opponents would love us to have.

55 is probably just bottom half, 60 is possibly top half and a fabulous finish to a great, great season for us.
