We can't sign anybody at the moment unless they're unattached. Anybody got ideas as to who might be on the radar ?

I notice Adam Nowland is still without a club - he impressed me in pre-season.

Just looked at the PFA unattached list. There are a hell of a lot of players available, including some with extensive FL experience.

If we're looking for a forward, Febian Brandy, Manchester United youth product who was quite highly rated for a while, is available and presumably lives locally. There are over thirty pages of players though.

I am sure GH will be talking to players, but I bet money is a stumbling block.

I don't think money is always the main issue, though. Some players are adamant that they want to stay full time and in this instance we need to try and persuade players to follow in the footsteps of people like Chris Senior and Greg Young by going part time whilst, for example, seeking other qualifications.

Good post Alty1981. That list of unattached players would see Alty as the perfect platform to get back into full time football. Can't see money being a stumbling block to them, I mean what would they have to lose?
Lewis Killeen is on that list. So is John Grant, who scored loads of goals for Halifax and Aldershot - both in their 20s.
Danny Adams is on the list too. So is an experienced defender recently released by Darlo - Mark Bower.
