Dare we dream now? 20th place at least?

Its a common opinion that this is the best close season for years. We're building a great squad and teams will undoubtedly have to show a bit more respect at moss lane. Can we finish in the top 16? Anything is possible.

But the question is, should we be disappointed if we're in a dog-fight come April?

For me personally 20th place will do, but i'd expect us to have it in the bag with at least three games to spare?

What do we think, do we deserve to expect more from the team this year?

I know what you're saying, and in one sense, 20th would do for me too.

Having said that, with the signings we've made, and a bit of luck I'm hoping to be well out of the relegtion mix this season for a change.
In other words, a fantastic season for me would be not to ever look like being relegated and finish above V*cs.
As for where we finish, given that the previous points have been satisfied, I don't care!

PS: I'm happy to wait until next year for the play-off victory (With Ellison scoring the winner for us)

As many people have stated, it's all about what we do at home. I'd like to think we now have the players to attack every team we play at Moss Lane, puting them right under pressure from the word go. Away from home it will sometimes be different and rightly so. However, it would be a real statement of intent if we went to Woking on August 9th and had a real go at them. We need to hit the ground running and what better way to gee ourselves up than by winning there on the first day?

We all need to get down there and do our bit too. Everyone who was at Weymouth should try and be there and more besides. Every game counts!
