What a great signing Lee Elam is fantstic.Met him at Fitness first in Exeter on the Monday after Exeter had hammered us on the Saturday, real gentleman told me that the only differance on the day was the fitness lvls and that Alty just ran out of steam.

Very impressive signing and along with the others puts out a decent signal to fans that we are trying to kick on this season. Not to mention the lad from Wrexham who could follow. Been a few years since we've gone into a season with a squad this strong. Lets hope they click sooner rather than later but you cant knock the board and Cote for the new faces which have come in, nice one fellas.

Hmmm, last season a 9-1-1 formation.
This season a 1-1-9 formation!

This is going to be fun!!!!!

("to" is spelled "too" by the way.

But that is not the reason why I have joined your website from Exeter City (albeit I live in Spain).

Lee Elam is a class right-sided attacker and done well for us in his 15 months at Exeter City - he was at Wembley for 2 play-off finals on the trot so don't write him off too quickly.  He has lots of experience, outstanding raw pace down the right flank and an eye for goal.  Look after him and he will look after you.  Promotion and further signings dictated that some had to go at Exeter.  I just hope your centre forward is up to a fast-moving supply of crosses.  Either way, good luck to Lee ELAM and "Alty".  Feed him the ball and he will pay you back in spades .........

GOOD LUCK NEXT SEASON

but with the siging of Elam does this spell the end for warren?

warren wil prob play on left if we are being defensive , also i think elam plays more on right than left but can or has played both

Lee Elam is very much right-sided.  He has good covering- defensive qualities but, frankly, the more you allow him to terrorise the oppositions' left back, the more you will keep their defence in their own half.

One of those who scored against you in the first game of last season.

Er, bit hard to tell actually on the basis of recent seasons.

I can't believe how many attacking players we are signing!

So what about Denham then?  Who will play right wing?

If Denham is pushed up front then we will theoretically have to drop two from Senior, Little, Johnson??

Now, if only we can lure the great Tunna back from somewhere in Yorkshire....

At the rate we're going it'll be those three at the back.
