Since the Conference went two up-two down, there is obviously clubs whose attendances are way above the rest. I'd say our attendances are satisfactory all things considered (although obviously more support is always welcome).
to be brutally honest that sort of att against that sort of opposition is about it. Why would any die hard altrincham fan think any different? This is the whole point about the sort of football being played at moss lane this season.... sure its effective and been successful, but its narrow and pretty uneventful. Last week i got 4 new supporters to go against wrexham, i doubt any will be back this season, as it was too tepid. We have a great catchment area, but its mighty competitive out there. Yes i know we have no money, but we have a great bunch of honest players who are more than capable of entertaining and holding their own at this level. But they have to be allowed to be more expansive and let the creative players express themselves more .To be fair, yesterday was as open a game as i have seen this season, and long may it continue.
Personally I think Clee and Denham are good enough.. What we do need is someone (as do many clubs) who can get on the end of things and put the ball in the net on a regular basis.
Re. the admission fees for children at Moss Lane.
Surely the simplest criterion would be as follows:
if they are smaller than Chris Senior, they are allowed to enter the ground free of charge.....?

Does anybody remember our programmes of yesteryear, when they used to match players with TV characters. I remember Paul France V Alan Tracey from Thunderbird 5, and Freddie Krueger matched very cruelly with Carl Dyson.
Can anybody remember any of the others, was there a Ricky Harris V Bruce Willis?

Out of interest why when teams have the far end of the popular side and we are shooting towards the away end do most of our fans stay behind the golf road end? When you can still get a decent view down the popular side?
