I really hope that for next season they do a very cheap season ticket (ie £10 or £20) for kids. We need more and more young fans than ever, they are our potential lifeblood and the potential spin offs are big.

Think £10 or £20 is a little cheap.

But perhaps £50 may be realistic.

Had a quick look - for next season:

Doncaster  = £30
Crewe = £50
Stockport = £50
Tranmere = £65

Alty charged £80 this season. I believe Sale Sharks actually charged a bit less.

The biggest strength a club like ours should have against the bigger clubs is cost, convenience and friendly atmosphere.  There's now an ice rink and cinema down the road, not to mention the bus or tram to the Trafford Centre.  I've believed for a long long time that getting young people and kids involved is absolutely vital if we are to progress as a club.  What age were many of us when we first started to watch?

perhaps this should also be flagged to the board before they meet to discuss next season's ticket pricing.

Totally agree with the idea of cheap pricing for kids. We have built up some momentum in the attendances, and now with relegation I am fearful that we could drop into the 600s if we keep the prices the same. If we let in under 14s for 2 quid we might hit 1,000 regularly and the added atmosphere would be a spurn for the team. There would also be no financial loss- 300 kids paying 2 quid bring in the same as 100 paying 6.  With an encouraging ticket policy the club has potential - let's hope we can keep on building our fan base!
