i remember being at the game and gazelle telling us all about it. to be honest you couldnt tell anything had been done and at the end of the game we wandered onto the pitch (as you could in those days) to have a look if we could see it. if memory serves mr gazelle wasnt even too sure which end it was at.
i was probably even at the party and thankfully left early!

re runcorn i too was on that coach. in those days pre satnav/internet it was often a case of getting to the town and looking for floodlights
