Goodson is not a no 9 in this league. Not big or strong enough to hold it up or deal with longer balls up to him. Might work as wide player but I’d give one of the two target men a go with Kaja meaning they get some sort of service for a change

Do we usually hoof it up?

I read something about it being easier to then push up, win it back and occupy their half, than it is to try and play through them.

It does get us up the pitch no doubt, but for the next 89 minutes we play try to play through the thirds.
