a Unibond club through and through. Bad memories of a 0-2 FAC loss when I had to endure a retard shouting "come on Stanley" for 90mins in my ear and seeing Ian Craney wasting his talents in that victorian hell hole, I guess not my favourite club or town.

Made his name as the "flying doctor" when Gretna went in to the Scottish 3rd division after resigning from the Unibond and scored hat fulls as they progressed to the SPL then as the cash ran out went further north, a class act at that level though would get substituted often when "on call"

My daughters (a wrexham girl) first Alty match was our 1-0 win at the racecourse, she loved the passion and banter of the alty fans and in her words she asked me "why are Wrexham fans wierd ?" Happy days.

Which non-league club will have a "home" at Salford's new stadium ? FCUM or even the mighty robins, it would certainly expand our fan base !, doubt if the local alty boys will agree !!!

Pitty ! could have been a great manager . The alty pitch was a mud bath during his reign which spoiled his passing game, a fiesty character easily wound up by the odd Dennis outburst from the popular side Good luck to him.
