*Anything not positive will be deleted*

Northwich have Exeter and Torquay away in the next two games.  They are not safe.

We could be 18th on Saturday

Halifax have 2 away games next (one at Burton) and then Aldershot and also have to play Stevenage.

My result predictions (which are based on both form and teams playing against) make it like this prior to Weymouth

Farsley 44pts
Halifax 42pts
Weymouth 42pts (based on current GD)
---------------
Northwich 42pts
Alty 41pts

2 scrappy games for us coming up. I think/hope a tense 2-1 win Saturday, and a backs to the wall 0-0 at Ebbsfleet.

From the Altrincham FC website:

CHILDREN'S COMPETITION
On Saturday, the Club Shop is selling tubes of Cadbury's mini chocolate eggs for 20p and are inviting children to buy them, eat the eggs and then fill the tubes with 5p pieces, with the proceeds going to the Club. They can then decorate the tubes and return them to the Club by the 1st of September, when two prizes of a signed football will be given to the creators of the best decorated egg, one for U-8 year-olds and one for 8 year-olds and over.

Well, I've spent the entire evening decorating my tube of mini eggs so that it is now the spitting image of a miniature George Heslop, so I am bound to win that prize in September.

Three games to win a place in the Conference. I'd have settled for that 5 years ago when we avoided relegation to the Unibond North, and I'll settle for it now.
Even if we go down (and we are easily capable of staying up) it will be our best relegation yet.

Salisbury - we went three nil up away and they are almost twice as good at home as away - and minus that player.

Ebbsfleet - these runs come to an end soonr or later, as we found with Gateshead when we got promoted.

Weymouth - the team that needs the win usually beats the team that needs a draw - and Weymouth haven't won much lately (true story, that.)

Halifax only got 4 points out of their 3 home games, to be honest given their home form that was the very least you could expect so that's positive.

Hey I've got one, Carlos Roca looked lively when he came on on Tuesday.

Also Battersby has started to impress me, I don't think I'd want him at right back defending but he has given us a more natural width when he comes on on the right wing.

Also, Warren Peyton won't be absolutely bolloxed after a full days work on Saturday  :)

Our next two games are against teams with nothing to play for in the league.

GH has said Salisbury is must win so we're going to attack, no hanging back waiting to concede.

Don't think that Salisbury will be rolling over this afternoon as they are one of the in form teams in the league with just two defeats in the last eighteen games!

Their manager has come out with a 'we need to finish as high as we can to attract new players' type comment. Sounds like he feels his players are going into end-of-season cruise control to me. Definite three points for the Alty.
