He will have one of his 'stormers' that he has every 8th game  ;D

Good luck to him - nice fella - assume he is Staffordshire based along with Jake Moult

Seems odd if he was offered a deal and chose to leave for another glue league club

Unless he was told that he wouldn't be a first choice player or got a higher offer?

It's not that odd. The guy is a disgrace to be honest. He couldn't wait to get off that pitch against Tamworth. He should have moved on years ago.

I'd guess that if he was offered a deal, it probably reflected his level of ability. So he left.

Another player that leaves , but not for the better. Not many of our players end up at a higher level, similar story with the managers.

Disgrace is a bit harsh. He was at times a great player for us and the reason he overstayed his time with the club is because we kept offering him deals. He got slated week in week out this season, I imagine he wanted to get out of the club as much as we wanted him to.

From shushing fans to not even acknowledging the fans and heading down the tunnel, to abysmal in arsed performances, I'd have rather kept any of Doughtys array of signings.

I drew the conclusion from postings on here that he became apathetic once he wasn't an automatic starter. A talented player, but not as good as HE thinks he is. Some great contributions for us, but far too inconsistent.
