Jester fans protest at winning a home game.  Why cost your team 3 points (or more if they get a deduction for this)?  Just to make sure they have no chance of staying up and to make the authorities and fellow clubs more sympathetic to their plight?  What were these idiots thinking?

75 minutes played, will the result stand?

Based on the Gateshead approach the result will stand and Chester will get three points docked.  That way the team that was losing don't get a second shot at it and nor to the club that caused the abandonment.

The fans had invaded at Half Time as well, they went on the pitch with Banners saying "Vaughn Out" and slogans such as "F*** Off Vaughn". I'm not sure they give a toss about the game being called off just that the crooked owner is ousted.

Around the 75th minute invaded the pitch. Referee took the players off. When things had settled down, the players when out again. They invaded the pitch again, ref & players went off again & the ref made the decision to abandon. Next decision on their position MONDAY 30th NOVEMBER.

They're not idiots at all. Let's get real, they're down. They need title winning form to escape, and they have a sh*t team. The point of forcing a game to be abandoned is to bring things to a head with Vaughan. Post-match protests are no good, they can be easily ignored. However, what's Vaughan supposed to do with a football club whose fans won't even allow their fixtures to be fulfilled?

Good on them, they might finally get rid.

Agreee with Mr. Fuertes here.  These are the real fans. If a suit starts going on about how the 'real fans' didn't get involved...ignore them.  This is Jesters last drink in the last chance saloon. The bell has rung, the towels are on the pumps and the landlord is ready to lock up.

aye.  3 hours of heavy rain.

there was nonsense involving egg chasing at stockport last night.  called off becasue one team refused to take part as the pitch was wet.

More evidence that egg chasing is for namby-pambies.

At least the footy players gave it a go.

Fair enough going to get the game abandoned but why wait until your team are so close to win.  I don't think I could contribute to Alty losing points whoever was in charge.
