I've still got one eye on Brackley dropping yet as well, such a poor home result that was against Corby.

Great to have it back in our hands though.

I mean most of us would have gone for a   bpa for win tonight rather than a draw
Harrogate lost, what more do you want!!

Don't worry about Bradford they 6 points behind us

Can't see it. There was a brief period where I thought they might be in danger, but the wins at Gainsborough and BS were very important. 70 points on the board with a pretty easy run-in should see them coast home.

Just looked at Bradford's fixtures and their now the team I'm most worried about, they'll fancy winning all 8 of there games. Massive when we go their place.

As things stand tonight's result is good for us. With goal difference we are effectively 7 points ahead of BPA as they will need to get the extra point to beat us in the league.

My predictions (we win the easy ones and get a point against each of those in the mix)

Brackley 84
Halifax 83
BPA 77
ALTY 76
Harrogate 74
Gainsb 72

This assumes BPA win all their remaining games apart from draws at home to us and away at Oxford which looks their next most difficult game (Hinckly, Droys, Histon, C Bay, Bish Stor and Oxford twice).  Our game against  them could decide it.  Realistically it would be one hell of a run in for them if they manage it and they will almost certainly slip up somewhere, the important thing is that we don't or we manage to pick up a victory in one of the four tricky games we have left which we are more than capable of.  Going to be tight!

Histon are no mugs and Stortford seem to be playing better now. It wouldn't be impossible for BPA to drop points to one of them.

Not sure about that.

They've only won one of their last nine league fixtures.

True, although they took points off Gainsborough and Harrogate away from home.

I expect BPA will beat them but it should be contest not a gimme.

bpa run in looks very good for them on paper mainly teams in bottom half to play ,including hinckley and droyldsen

They play their game in hand on us next week which sees them with 4 matches in 8 days - doesn't matter who you're playing that's tough. Also, after that they play us the following Wednesday.

Unfortunately both bpa and gate have a decent run in - we don't. Still think we'll need to beat Fax once and either Guis or preferably bpa to get 78. It can be done, but v difficult.

We need to get behind the lads and it is up to us to perform. If we don't then only ourselves to blame. The lads can do this. Believe!

We shouldnt fear anybody

We'd should have taken a point on Monday. And we'd have taken that starting our best team.

We didnt have Boshall last time we went to the Shay. 5 Crazy minutes killed us that day and Inthink we are more disciplined especially with Boshall in there.

As for BPA, we can get 3 points there. We battered gainsbourgh away, we beat Brackley awag, we beat Harrogate on an awful pitch.

1 game at at tine at the moment... we have GD on our side.
