Taken from official web site:
there was a comment about the impending punishment for his club from Stanley chairman Eric Whalley in yesterday's Daily Telegraph, where he states, 'It took us 44 years to get back into the Football League and one or two people are doing their best to make it one of the shortest stays ever". The Telegraph adds, "How neutrals must wish for a happy ending to this particular brief encounter".

all us alty fans must feel out raged by the way the poor accy are bieng treated in this un just way  ;D ;D ;D

I feel so strongly about this subject I will be starting a petition in defence of the great Accrington, clubs should not be treated like this.

Hope to see them in the conference soon, they deserve all they get LOL

(Hope this post is okay, I'll proof read later.....)

Quote from the Official Site:

"Altrincham fans will be just as distressed about the the threatened seven-point deduction for Accrington Stanley in League Two for failing to register two players properly as the Lancashire club were about our club's misfortune when we had 18 points deducted after Stanley had failed to get international clearance for James Robinson before allowing him to join us last season."

I just love the tone of this ironic item! I wish I could give the author a dollop of Goodwins for that!!  :D :D :D :D

It should be more than seven if I read this situation properly.

Two players involved, with points gained in at least one game where BOTH played.

The points are dedcucted for the offence of playing one player illegally.  If the punishment stops there they they have got away with wrongly playing a second player WITHOUT PUNISHMENT.

If that's justice I am a banana.
