So who is to blame ?
« on: December 28, 2007, 08:49:49 AM »

Now I've calmed down (A little .. Not a lot) I've been wondering who is to blame for this bad form ?...

I shouted at a player "Show some heart" on Saturday as he left the pitch and he told me to "F*ck Off" and stuck the v's up at me .. So we learn the players are not to blame..

Someone has a go at Graham and he defends himself so he is not to blame ??

Simple fact is we have won 3 games out of 22 in the league this season .. And got a meagre 7pts at home !!!

I think the Altrincham fans are VERY patient and bad results v Stevenage and Vics could mean some very pooor attendances and support at Moss Lane just as we are getting the supporters back through the turnstiles.

Would be interesting to know which player it was Gary, but I suspect you might want to keep that private.

The question has to be who is to blame.

1) Is it the players - if so replace them as soon as possible, not an easy task.
2) Is it the manager - we all say he is dedicated but being dedicated is not enough, a manager needs to be dedicated and have qualities.

One thing is for sure 3 wins in 22 is NOT acceptable at ANY footbal club.

Indeed I do. Some people in the bar afterwards know cos I was fuming, the said player didn't come in the bar afterwards (don't think ever seen him in there) and it was probably just as well cos you know what I'm like ! Half of me thinks Maybe he said that cos he does care or maybe he just felt guilty .. I have no idea but I will be having my say with him again... I don't forget (always my downfall)

Can I add we do on average lose a home game 2-1 , which shows that we must have potential ??
