Earlier Topic on raising the clubs profile/support Bases

Few weeks back there was a long thread on how best to improve the clubs fan base/attendance ect....

One quote said that we come up with the ideas , none go through

Just wondering whether that thread has been brushed under the carpet for a few months, untill we are really bad ( even worse than now), or whether any ideas could be looked at more seirously with the view of implementing them..

Im aware that we won last night giving us 5k extra, and beating Blyth would earn us another 6,000

But what about the other ideas suggested...?

The way I see it is what is/are big and influential in the local area? Council, schools, Tesco, ice rink/Manchester phoenix etc.... we need to link with these in some way, marketing people step forward.

I said at the time that it's no good just having ideas, it needs someone to have an idea and actually run with it to a certain extent in order to try and bring it to fruition.

That was my point (I just unsure of who said it), there were some good ideas on that thread - however after doing a lot of event organising for charity, that it takes quite a few people to help out, and quite a bit of planning

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right

Out of interest - who was/would be interested in helping on one of these?
