Title: The famous Altrincham v Millwall signed shirt
Post by: Baldrick on November 22, 2012, 05:48:17 PM
I put it up for sale due to my baby twins trying to pull it off the wall. It's on Ebay but if anyone on here wants to make me a sensible offer i would prefer it to go to a fan rather than a trader.

Made an offer, but already out of my pocket! Hope it goes to a fan!

Yes i would prefer to sell it to a fan. Ebay is full of traders who buy stuff like this to resell. There is one with a shop in Brighton, he buys shirts and is happy to keep them for years waiting for the price to go up. I think i paid £106 so with the programme, ticket and DVD i'm hoping for £150. There are 12 watchers probably waiting until the last five minutes. With any luck someone will make me a decent offer and i can sell privately. I don't really like dealing with Ebay.

Why not just take it down till the bin lids are older then put it back up?

Lack of space and shortage of money. My flat is full of walkers, rockers, feeding chairs, cots, toys etc and they need new stuff all the time.
