Apparently, JJ can not be recalled until the end of the season as his short term loan (3 months) is not able to be extended due to some rule or another. Not 100% sure but i know there is some sort of rule about these type of things. This is why Shotton had to go back to stoke just before Christmas before we could loan him again at the start of the January Window.

wrong, if a club recalls a player on the 24hr notice rule his loan oges on hold. we are then allowed to lan him back for the remainder for the days of his loan. So for example jj has been with us for 61 days of his loan and macc have called him back in two weeks they decide he is not for the 1st team yet we can then have him back for another 32 days untill the 93 day loan period is up.

However this scenario can only happen before the third thursday in march which is the deadline for signing loan and out of contract players.
