So now we're on the verge of losing to a team from the division BELOW the tinpot league we're destined for next season. And with a "strong" side out. Last one to leave please turn the lights out.

An embarrassment to the name of the Football Club. Senior members of the squad should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves, and resign tomorrow morning.

This goes well beyond not good enough. I've spent best part of 30 years watching moderate to rubbish altrincham teams, it goes with territory of nonleague Footbal. There's that much wrong here I honestly don't know where we start. On the evidence of this evening, if anyone thinks this slide will just stop come April, without major surgery, in mindset, approach, personnel then you'll be sadly mistaken. There was nothing between the two sides except Hyde knew how to defend and how to take half chances. The frightening thing is, there's every chance tonight's line up would have started at Darlington.

MD has to stay until the end of the season as no one else will be stupid enough to take us on.

But we need to have someone else in place for the first training session of pre-season. I believe we have a couple of decent players for the league below the rest can go.

I am fed up and was considering going on Saturday, probably going to save my money now.

Whilst the CSC is no great shakes, to lose to a team 14th in The Evostik First Div North speaks for itself. Given Matt's record is now worse than Jimmy Harvey's, for him to be offered the job come the season end it would have to have meant such a miraculous turnaround in results that we probably wouldn't be able to hold on to him.

Just highlights where we are.

Looked a strong 11 on paper. Massive changes need to be in place come pre-season.

Tuned in for the first half and at the break there seemed not much

I liked Matt Doughty as a player and I like him as a person. I also really wanted him to turn things around and make a success of things as our manager. However, as much as I realise we were in a sh*t state before he became involved, not one single person looking at our situation objectively could now make a good argument for him getting the job full time next season. If it happens then it's a disgrace, in all honesty.

I find it hard to articulate my disappointment at how things have deteriorated in recent months.
