On this basis we'd need the equivalent of 13 wins from our remaining 17 games to make the playoffs on 83 points.

With teams in and around the playoffs still to play each other, and the particular circumstances of the league this season, I'd say 11 or 12 might be enough.

It's a huge ask, but not beyond the realms of possibility. If we can take at least 6 points from these next three games we're quite well placed.

We have a tough run-in - 5 of last 6 are against top 4 teams - but we'd have to win a few of those to get those 11,12 or 13 wins.
If we did do it we would be the form team going into the playoffs.

Big ask I think though. I'd be very happy with 10th and hope, next season, to build on what is becoming a very good squad.

There's a glaring mistake in that table. It has tiny part-time non-league Altrincham above Dean Saunders' Wrexham. You need to have a think about this ridiculous situation.

If you said to me at the beginning of the season we would finish with 70 points and be above Crawley, Wrexham, Histon and Cambridge I would have referred you to your doctor. Now I would say "That seems fair, we'll take that." Fantastic if we do and great that we can even think about thigns like that. Brilliant work.

Realistically I can see us overtaking Kettering and Mansfield.....but just to finish 10th would be an achievement.

I'm hoping as soon as the AGM cup is a mathematical im possibility the team will relax and win the last ten games with free flowing confident football 3-3-4 formation or something.

For me, it would be a dream season to finish above Crawley and a.n. other (possibly Mansfield?) and get a single figure finish. 9th would be out of this world!

Heard some of Eastbourne's fans doing exactly that at half time today and I was thinking it's not long since that was us.

We've come a long way and it's easy to forget that sometimes.
