Wrexham Club Statement

THE Football Club has no problem with fans airing their view on independent websites, indeed we think it's a great idea.
We have no problem with supporters poking fun at the Directors or the criticising the Club, manager or the players.
However, we draw the line at offensive and potentially libellous comments and the publication of personal information. We have written to the moderator of a certain forum expressing our concerns on this issue.

One member who calls himself Henry J has been running a campaign against the Club, which involves calling many of our sponsors and encouraging them not to deal with us.
Calls were even made to The Rugby League and Greene King.
This sort of action can seriously damage the business, which ultimately will affect the football team.
We intend to take action against Henry J and ask you to help us 'Name and Shame' him.
Honest, genuine supporters - don't let him damage your club. Anyone with any information can contact the club via email.

That is absolutely extraordinary. They're turning on each other now. They're going to be here for years.

It seems that, under pressure from the Chairman's solicitors, the Red Passion (fans website) moderator has been forced to wipe the board and all its history and start again to avoid litigation. Unbelieveable!

To do that is scandalous!

Its hard enough to get sponsors without that.

I presume this is about the fact that they employ two people at the club who were involved in an alledged chairty sting where companies advertised on a calendar for charity but only 5% went to charity.

The fans want them sacked, the club stands by them.

I think part of it also may be to do with the misgivings many of the fans have about the current ownerships's intentions in the longer term to do with building student accomodation adjacent to the ground and the future of the training facilities etc.  Quite a few believe that there is some kind of hidden agenda going on.

And unfortunately their match this weekend is postponed (more postponements than Alty this season, but at least they trained on Christmas Day)
