Staylbridge are close to appointing their new manager , could be as early as tomorrow apparently. Wonder whether it will take out one of the list here............................

Stalybridge Celtic have today announced a new management team of former Ashton United duo Paul Phillips and Steve Halford.

And Guiseley sticking with Lockwood, for the time being at least. Any chance of Dens, Jake and Goodall staying in charge at Alty?

Got no choice for the County game.

Joint managers always seemed a bit odd to me, having three bods at the top is far from ideal.

Come on Alty.

Graham Barrow

Would be a good shout if he was unemployed but he's highly unlikely to leave the Assistant Managers job at Wigan for our job.

Goodall may possibly be interested in some sort of player/assistant/coach type deal but the other two still have plenty of football to play before they think about managing permanently.

Depends too much on what we dont know.

How many players have been signed on contracts to the end of the season? Of which, how many are utterly woeful? What wages are made available to bring players in? Realistically, where does our board want us to finish?

Any incoming manager wont want to work with some of the dross we have here. Really need someone who will quickly look to plug some gaps and bring in a couple decent defenders.

Grahame gets a lot of criticism on here, a lot of which is unfounded, I've seen the guy mopping the bogs out on more than one occasion, noticed he has put an update on the managerial situation, can the bloke have a bit of credit where it's due ? Looking forward now.

I'd say the next manager should be one that hasn't failed badly in their previous job as managers,as the last 3 had, this may mean going down a league.

Lee Sinnot failed? Did he really? Would you take that promotion now?

The quote was 'failed badly in the PREVIOUS job as manager'
I don't recall him getting promotion at Port Vale.
