Yes they stopped him. So his inclusion on Wednesday would speak volumes, as would his omittance

To be fair, Pete, I doubt he'll be considered, regardless of Southport's wishes, given he got a painful knock on the ankle in the second half yesterday and only finished the game because he's that sort of character. He's got the scars to show for it, apparently, but should be ok for Saturday. Can't imagine he'll figure on Wednesday, even if Southport give it the ok.

Other than replacing Taylor with Cain to play wide left (assuming he is on a dual registration arrangement with Prescot, which should mean he can play for us if we need him) that's the best we can do. I presume Dawber, Foster & Taylor would be the only others fit & eligible, so let's be honest & just name subs who will be present & able to play.
The main thing, quite honestly, is to get the fixture played & move on. God save us from another frostbound pitch on Wednesday!

Our best (only) chance is that Macc toss the FA Trophy off as an irrelevance, although Macc not having a league game next Saturday doesn't do us any favours in terms of them needing to rest players.
I realise I'm clutching at straws, but they are due at Eastleigh the Tuesday after the Sudbury away date and hopefully won't fancy two long trips in one week.

Perhaps not, but we don't have anything else left to play for this season. Plus I quite fancy the trip to Sudbury, in what would be a very winnable game given how we've dealt with lower league opposition in the cup competitions so far this season.
