Great game, odd ref
« on: September 13, 2014, 05:24:21 PM »

Some very good football played there today, finished off by 3 superb goals. Adam Griffin thoroughly deserved man of the match. Eastleigh finishing was pretty clinical, they took their few chances very well.

Hate to comment on referees as generally at this level their decisions are fairly random, but that was quite a bizarre attitude towards pushing. Then to let Eastleigh take the free kick before their third equaliser from pretty much where they wanted to was the icing on the sh*te

Near enough what I was going to say. A great game played by 2 attack minded sides, but the main talking point is the one person who,if doing his job correctly, shouldn't be talked about!!

Hope Reeves injury isn't too bad. I'd rest him for Tuesday for sure now.

I can't recall the free kick involved with the third goal so I don't know what bearing it had on the superb strike by Jai Reason that finished it off. My memory is of Scott Leather missing his tackle. I'm sure these two factors had more bearing on the outcome than the free kick being taken on the wrong square yard of pitch.

We should take heart from that performance against the full time Harlem Globetrotters.  An excellent game with brilliant goals from both sides.

Adam Griffin will be refreshing Alty TV with the family for most of the weekend, game of his life!

Again everyone worked their tripe off.  I'd have taken a point before it so pleased with it now, best performance of the season by far.

Despite the result Lee certainly brought a smile to my face today  ;D If we keep playing football like that we wont have any problems. Oh and where are the Griff and Perry knockers tonight?

I don't think you'll see a better goal than that at any level this season.

Great game today. It was like last season against the weaker teams.

Where has Kyle the can't be arsed gone? I was embarrassed to see him in a red and white shirt at Guiseley last season. Today he was right up there. He's got his Mojo back. Great performance.

I would have taken one point before the match on league position. We were better than them today.

Go boys. You are easily good enough for the prem.

There is no way Twissy would have left any form of pie uneaten.

Lee Sinnott said at one of his meet the management nights last year that Kyle Perry would come Ito his own at Conf Prem level, and he was a signing with a view to being in this league this year. So far KP has repaid his faith with performances and, as a Kyle supporter, I'm glad others are coming round to it too.

Very happy that Griffin is carrying on his good form from the past few games and I really hope he can keep it up. It looked on the matchday updates that it was similar to Colin Littles goal in the opener against Stevenage in '06(ish)? If so that is some strike.

I've truly felt what it is to be an exile today. I can't wait to see the game and all of the goals on Alty TV. And I've managed to listen to live radio commentary of an Alty game whilst driving back to Altrincham from South Wales. I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who makes that possible. Superb work.

Very happy tonight despite going ahead three times and only drawing, but against the well known conference names in that Eastleigh team I'm not too disheartened.

On to Kiddy on Tuesday. They are there for the taking and we're due a good result at Aggborough soon. COME ON YOU ROBINS!
