So proud of all the players, management, staff and fans after that. Jesus H Corbett that was tense!
Was dreading penalties (esp after Wally went off and their keeper was having a stormer) but up steps supersub Greg Wilko who sent us all mental with his first touch.
Effing fantastic! Proud of all Alty today.

All I can say is thank you to Lee and all the players - It made all the days travelling to tiny soulless grounds with little support all worthwhile.
So pleased I managed to get to both Hednesford games and the final - wouldn't have missed it for the world. Well done boys !

I bottled it! i listened in to the first half, but turned off at the break - it was too much for me.  I don't do stress any more!  Tuned back in for the last fifteen minutes of normal time, but as it was always going to be close extra time was as per expectations.

Dropped in and out of ET - and missed the winner! Everybody has their limit and pens were beyond me, and I thought that's where we were heading.

I'll' relive the whole game when the recording goes up and look forward to Alty TV.

Fantastic job by the players and management today.  Getting that crowd in and out safely is also worthy of praise - well done everybody involved with getting todays game on.

It's gonna be a tough old season ahead but we're in there on merit - we deserve it.

Well said, and great of you to be so gracious in defeat.  Could have been a different result on a number of occasions.  Good luck for next season, and perhaps now people will get behind a manager who I developed a huge sense of respect for after the awards evening not so long ago.

I agree with Guiseley Fan on that.  My faith waivered once or twice, but Lee said he'd get us promoted and he did.  Well done to Lee, the board, bus driver and THE WHOLE TEAM OFF THE PITCH. ;D

Also credit to Lee for his dignity in going to the Guiseley Management on his way to the presentation

After being pessimistic all season, I really fancied us today......and it wasn't till I decided that we'd blown it and were going to lose on penalties that we achieved our massive result.

So next season I shall continue in my "prophet of doom" mode in the sure and certain knowledge that I'm going to be proved utterly wrong by the amazing Alty.
