Title: Never in it
Post by: Mrs Warbouys on November 09, 2014, 04:04:28 PM
Even at 2-1, only the fans werent bullied or intimidated today, and we had to stand amongst them. Totally timid and a day of shame in all honesty. Oh well, forget the thousands of pounds on offer, let's arrange another fundraiser, £100+ day that for most of us today.... Please don't let anybody try and justify it or anyone not there say it was unlucky, it's was f**king sh*t

Were Maguire and Dale as good as made out, or Alty as predictable as ever?

Probably one of the few games where going was not required to know exactly what it was like.  Sounded awful from 1 - 11, from start to finish.

Dreadful.  They should be ashamed to go out without a even a fight.

Fresh faces desperately needed now.

Disgraceful and shameful result.

If you want fresh faces then it needs a fresh face at the top.....when did lee ever bring in a season changing player mid season?....he just tinkers with the same players trying to find a formation that works....

I tend to be fairly philosophical in defeat but not today, on nationwide coverage, disregarded in the main, and comprehensively beaten by a team two leagues below. An utter shambles which has cost the club money, kudos and possibly support that could have been generated by a positive display. Sometimes I wish I could divorce my football team yet we all know that isn't possible.

I wasn't there so I won't comment on the game.

What I will say/ask is this: Did haven and leather play in the centre of defence if not why not.

I am aware that clee was out and griffin can play wide left but .......

If the manager gets the defence right then were half way there. Its no good playing lads out of position in the hope that they will do OK. I think 99.9% of us realise that Scott and Luca are best in the centre. What we need to do now is convince that 0.1% ie the man in Hull who picks the team to realise it.

FA cup or not we should not be losing to teams the like of Blythe, and if anyone thinks thats acceptable then were going nowhere.

I really had high hopes for a win today.

Thank god I didn't drive all that way to watch that , anyone who went I commiserate you , sounded awful on r.r , I'm afraid Marshall is not up to standard , surely  Scott and Luca  should be together , I know Nicky was out and risky to play crowther but should of made the change after we scored , would of brought on crowther for Marshall and put Griff back at left back Scott in middle .

A text message to Wayno at 11.15pm last night asking if he still had a space in his car was one of the worst decisions in my life.

Absolutely dreadful, losing 4-1 to a team two leagues below us without a fight is a shambles. Don't think I've ever been speechless after a match, what a waste of time and money.

Unexpected result at Lincoln followed by, unfortunately, an almost predictable dire display today. We came out second half even worse than the first.

We appear to be consistently inconsistent at the moment (if you get my drift). How can you not be motivated for an FA Cup game? They looked like they thought all they had to do was turn up.

Only consolation for me was that it was great to see so many faces again, reconnect, but the game was painful.
