I think its a fair assumption that on top of trying for promotion, the luton players will now be playing for the jobs,which is good with games remaining against barrow,southport, histon and eastbourne

I never understand the point in sacking managers at this stage of the season. The new one cant get anyone in ...

I almost always advocate giving a manager time, but Money did seem to be a clueless nob. Played players out of position on a weekly basis, got involved with negative supporters, gave very strange interviews to the press.

A new manager will probably be just the boost they need. I still think York will win the playoffs if they sneak in there.

Thing is though if Crawley hadn't bought the league then Luton would be in a good position ? Surely the Luton board must realise that competing with the 'rich club' would be hard and that take them out of the equation then he's doing ok ?

On second thoughts losing to Southport and meaning we stayed in the bottom 4 is worthy of losing his job... GOOD RIDDANCE !

Luton have spent huge money this season,and its only been masked by crawley stealing all the headlines with their record breaking sums.If you add up the costings of all  the players luton have bought in,its a phenomenal amount for a club thats only just hanging on to third place.I think theyve gone sh*t or bust,and think anything other than promotion will leave them in huge trouble.I fear the punishment should they even think about yet another spell in admin.It would certainly see them expelled to the ryman

I'd disagree with the 'hanging on'. they have 4 games in hand and in my opinion will finish 2nd comfortably.. and they will only finish second to a team who as you rightly say have smashed record after record on spending, just unfortunate that they have spent big in a year when someone else has. Hindsight is that no one should have gone to win the league this year but just enough for fighting it out in the play off's as no one else has been given a chance to win it.

agree up to the lose in the play offs i think they can do anyone bar crawley over 2 legs and i cant see luton losing should they get to the final
