your having a laugh right?

Which of our shower of sh*te would you suggest is better than him? Or should we just go with 10 players?

If Deasy isn't fit then leave him out until he is,we may as well try and get him fully fit for next season.

If Deasy isn't fit then leave him out until he is,we may as well try and get him fully fit for next season.
But Deasy will never be fully fit, as has been proven over the past 18 months he's mostly been with us. Which makes handing him a deal until the end of next season all the more inexplicable.
-
I'd start Dawber until the end of the season and tell him in no uncertain terms that he's got to show us he's a retainable asset, otherwise he's gone at the end of the season. We know his weaknesses all too well, but his shot stopping has been consistently decent.
"Playing the kids" and having them get annihilated for a few months will not do them any favours, nor will it do us any good next season as a few of these lads probably have roles to play. I want to see them on rotation, each given their own opportunities to develop and show us that they're capable of being involved in the Glue League.
We've got to be careful with Laurence Taylor here, we could be on to a decent player with him and he reminds me a lot of Anthony Danylyk... But I fear we may end up giving him too much responsibility, too soon. He's not really had a part to play in our demise this season and I don't want him tarred with the same brush by becoming too associated with what will definitely be a horrendous end to the campaign.
It's all good naming these elevens and suggesting formations but the fact is some of these lads can't execute their roles, or carry out simple instructions in a 4-4-2.

Massive game Tuesday. If we get beat and Fylde avoid defeat at home to Alfreton then we will no longer be mathematically be able to catch Fylde, and unfortunately we will have to accept that our title challenge is over for this season. Come on you Robins!!!

Ah yes, last season's Player of the Season.

I've been resigned to us only making the playoffs for weeks now.

Bit oif a pessimist yeah?

I'm resigned to us making the playoffs.....in 2019....from Evostik 1 North. And probably blowing it.

4-0 to Brackley. Should be my local game but unfortunately I'm camped out in the USA for work
If we don't win then my names not Donald Clinton
-
See main website - weather forecast dubious so those planning to go keep an eye out for news in the morning. The rest of us will wish you a good journey if the game gets the go-ahead!
-
3-0 to them
-
4-0 defeat at best.
-
We'll kill 'em. Only the frost can save them
-
Somewhat weirdly we win this two one.
-
I'll be there to watch us try and do football stuff.
-
I'd play Dawber. Deasy defo carrying an injury so they're both at a similar standard.
I'd still 3 cbs Hannigan, Cyrus and either McDonald or Moult.
If we can not concede 2 soft goals in the 1st 20min we still be in the game going into the last 15.

BIG FAT GUT FEEL IS A TWO ONE ALTY WIN.
Come on!!!

3-0 Brackley on the correct score bet is 8/1. I've gone with that. We are interesting to bet on at the moment if literally nothing else.
-
Blind faith, one of those nights, etc. I had £2 on Curzon Ashton to beat us 4-2 earlier this season and I've not bet a score line in our games since. Here's to hoping.

Hannigan injured AGAIN,this time in warm up and replaced by Richman,Moult in defence. One up,Clee!!
-
Half time and we're not losing. Thats almost a result in itself these days.

298 there...

298 there...
Makes it all the harder to take it in. 298...
-
Something we will need to get accustomed too
What makes me want to cry is they are in touching distance of the play offs
Criminal
-
Goody goody gumdrops, a point! Praise be to Kyle Perry
-
Well done all the Alty that made it tonight. Glad you saw us get a rare point.
-
A bit of self-respect and pride at last. A huge well done to the players - not said that once this season.
-
1-1. I'd say thats a good result in normal circumstances, difficult place to go on a cold foggy Tuesday night. Given our season so far its got to be considered a great result.
They will have thought that was a nailed on three points.
I hope it gives the lads some confidence, unfortunately they'll need more than that to avoid a trouncing at Fylde!
-
The penalty they missed at 0-1 was a definite bonus. Good point. Hope Heathcote is OK....sounded a nasty injury.
-
298 there...
We have more for FA youth cup fixtures... still, a decent point, onwards to fylde
-
Hands very cold. Type more when warm.
-
Great result on a foggy cold night.
Hope the lads who went off injured are ok.

Absolutely. Hopefully give us the confidence to get a respectable defeat at Fylde now. Pleased for those who went tonight.
-
Sam went up for an aerial challenge with their striker, and the lad unintentionally chopped him on his neck. He was struggling to breathe after that and it was suggested that he was having spasms. Said he's feeling a little dizzy still but a lot better. Classless jeers from their fans behind the goal.
We battled superbly last night and had chances to score more, mostly in the first half. The second was one of the oddest I've ever watched. Brackley had most of the ball but from our vantage it was really hard to say whether they actually did anything with it.
We played a kind of 3-4-1-1 thing and we grew into it as the game went on, but rode our luck for the first half hour as they got in down the flanks over and over again. Tomi Adeloye had a promising cameo and Gary Jones was our MOTM but all the lads put a fantastic shift in.
-
We were lucky to get a result. The game at Oxford was called off 5 minutes before kick-off
-
Just back from the game, very hard earned point, Nicky Clee starting to look like his old self.
Typical Brackley side, physical, direct and with a couple of quick wingers.
Shaky at the back in the first half but good going forward. Much more solid in the second half without as much goal threat. (I think as couldn't see outside our attacking penalty area in the second half!)
Terrific support given the distance, horrible conditions and current situation.
-
Good point and well done. Hope young Heathcote is ok.
Superb effort those that went
-
A great point given we lost two centre halves. And well done the management team for quickly spotting that Owens at Emergency centre half was not the answer and switching to 4-4-2. A load of positives from tonight. Still many of the old frailties though.
What a set of fans we have. Out in force again. And tonight was at least a partial reward for perseverance

How many of the 298 do you estimate we had there ?
-
At least 30.
-
With no away turnstile, and Altrincham fans having a tendency to spread out across grounds rather than pack together, it was hard to say for certain. I posted 40 as an estimate for our media channels as there were around 25 behind the goal in the second half and at least 10 in the main stand. Could have been more though, it really was a decent effort and the lads made sure it was appreciated at the end of the game. They were applauded off by all.
-
Some mild encouragement from last night. I thought the players worked hard and continued to offer a bit of threat on the counter-attack throughout. Great finish from Clee for the goal. We could easily have lost the game though - their left-winger had Patterson on toast and their right back got in countless times on the other side.
We're not yet a good side but, based on last night, we're no longer a shambles.
-
Shame that we cudnt win it sounded like we got knocked about a bit
