I've just seen Burton Albion's second goal at Macc on Saturday via the BBC North West local news....and it really is an example of farce of the highest order.

If Lee Sinnott didn't manage to put a smile on my face this season, well, at least Macc's goalkeeper has.

Well worth watching on Late Kick Off on BBC One at 11.05pm this evening.....

Having said that isn't GH a Freeman of Altrincham? That title usually allows one to herd sheep through the streets, could be his big chance at last!  ;D

During this season he was working, at least part time, as a scout for Tranmere Rovers.

GHs name did cross my mind too.  plenty of experience at the level and the area.  think they'll be looking for someone with promotions from the BSP experience.

I read somewhere they wanted a manager with experience of the Conference, hmm, could be a gig for Jim Harvey there?
Dean Saunders ! Bloody obvious when you consider the ovine connection  ;D

Don't be cross, but he did a great job at Wrexham and an even better one at Doncaster!  ;)

Today was inevitable & Southend should be a good final day out in the league.

However the grant fiddling you lot are so obsessed with had nothing to do with our promotion to the football league.  We had already spent a substantial amount of time in the league before it ever became an issue. The last time Alty had a team who looked anyway near good enough to being football league standard was over 30 years ago and it pains you so much to know you will never, ever achieve what Macc have.

Good luck next year - you are going to need it with teams like Chester coming up.
Wouldn't miss it for the world, see you there

GH would get them out of BSP though, although perhaps not in the direction they would have wanted.  ;)

I love the timing of Southends second goal.  Almost the last action of their league history was to concede a goal.  I LOVE that!

Nine games, no wins. Is it too early to bring back this classic thread...?
