what are the chances of dropping through the bsp into bsn stockport and lincoln nearly did and they are bigger clubs my guess is they are coming down with loads of debt from trying to postpone the inevitable

Might not get to play them for some time, as they will get relegated again, as we go back to BSP.  ;D ;D

Still, there's always the Trophy?

Book your places for the party in 12 months time.

I loathe Macc Town - I want to be clear about that at the start of this post.

Putting aside the dodgy finances for a minute (how many clubs are squeaky clean?)

Macc Town survived in the footy league for at least 10 years longer than I expected.  They gained promotion to the 3rd tier.  They played the likes of Man City, Stoke and Fulham in the league.  They gained respect from other clubs watching as they got by on 1500-1800 gates at home.  As I say I loathe them but I will acknowledge that they beat expectations.

I don't expect them to go straight through to BSN, I doubt they'll make the play-offs, I do expect them to be permanent residents of the BSP.

Normal service is now resumed from York Alty.  Piss off you Macc bastards...

Brian Horton was on £5,000 a week and a reward of £50,000 if he keep them up!

And I thought Twiss was waste of money.

I actually think they'll do ok in the BSP, being a traditional non league club that they are. THey aren't in financial meltdown, they just weren't good enough to stay up so they should be able to at least stabilise.

And I agree that maybe we should sort ourselves out a bit instead of gloating at Macc, but well.... it is joyous to behold let's be fookin honest!

I doubt either would consider dropping to BSN at this point.

Apparently said he didn't want to be a NL manager

I read somewhere they wanted a manager with experience of the Conference, hmm, could be a gig for Jim Harvey there?
