From Today's Droylsden Forum:-

"I had a chat with pacey on saturday and he said weve got 2 lads from chester coming in and karl munroe!!!!!! Not sure if its official yet but.... from the horses mouth!!"

Imagine Karl facing us on 9th February!

I hope Karl does find himself a club and if that club happens to be Droylsden then so be it. Seems like a nice guy and always gave 100% for Alty and would doubtless get a decent reception from Alty fans.

Anybody know whether the other Alty lads who have been released have got fixed up with clubs? Especially Pottsy and Rosey?

Pottsy was released because of injury and an iminent operation?

Rosey I believe is not playing for anybody, lack of desire I heard?

Personally I hope Pottsy returns when fully fit and Rosey gets his desire back

Big shame about Rosey. He could do a great job at a decent Conference North team and should his desire be lacking, I too hope he gets t back soon.

I heard Rosie's waiting for his chance for the idols  :P Not that we need him with alty dave rocksteady at the back! Its not that suprising we got a cleansheet when i wasn't playing  :D

Which "current circumstances"? Do you mean his persistent injury?
