Seems like a revised bid from Peterborough has clinched a deal for CCC.
(according to twitter, or whatever it's called now)
No official confirmation from either club.

Twice actually, he finished up as his physio at .......Peterborough !

Yes. Another reason for CCC to give Posh a swerve 😏

PS. I was referring to Flashman rather than the ex-Scarborough bloke who's currently, after all these years, tinkering with Torquay.

Can only recall one previous from them and he turned out a bit alright.👍

Yes. Even though he eventually had his head turned by a cockney spiv.

4
Four divisions step up is a biggie though.
I hope we can ease him in gently.
I'm sure Parky and Sorvs have been looking at this for quite a while and will have a pathway mapped out.
Come on you Supers 👍 🇦🇹

What do our more 'in the know' people think of this signing?
Welcome to the Club anyway mate! Hope you have an enjoyable and successful career with us.

Interesting stuff!
What about the Ipswich Town rumours? They've not actually made a move then?

7
And so it begins! 😉
I think he can do better than Posh though actually although, as the article says, they have a lot of previous as regards buying players from non-league and developing them further.

I think Parky would have to think a player would be a nailed on starter who improved the team considerably before signing a 30 year old.

Rob, you've been fantastic for the Club and I'd just like to thank you for all your hard work over the years. You've been an integral part of our success and you should be proud of your contribution
Best wishes for the future.

For what?

Exactly! 😉

That's the tension and excitement of preseason.

Are we all holding our breath...?

I think he's very skillful but physically too small for championship football. Whatever happens I wish him good luck. One badly timed tackle and your career is messed up

I agree. I don't see him in the Championship (yet) but, as I said, I think he'd be able to do a job in League One right now.

The league one clubs won't pay what we'd really like. The only way that would work would be if Ipswich took a chance.
If they did, he'd not go straight into their side so they'd probably loan him out (to us? 🤞).
Must be honest though, if I were Ipswich, I'd be loaning him to a league one side. The ones who've supposedly shown interest would no doubt put him virtually straight in.

JL site says "12 months after arriving on a free"...

I thought we paid a club record fee for him?
We did, around 30k I believe. What a bargain.

Really? That's an absolute steal.  If clubs come calling stick another 0 on the end.

I think we should be asking a lot more than that. A lot more.
