If fit line-up as per Saturday with Richman in for Harrop would be my change.
Hoping to make the game.
Hopefully another 3 points, although I expect it not to be easy.
-
Think it will be the same starting 11.
Marine 0-1 Alty. Poole. Attn 453 (26 feral 16 year olds Mickeys)
-
Won't be easy tomorrow. They look to be in good form but it's padded out by a lot of cup competitions. Their fans appear to be bang up for it so let's make sure we pack together and get behind them from the start.
Three points could be massive. Witton v Warrington and Shaw Lane v Grantham tomorrow.
I'll go for a 1-3 win that, on the balance of play, we probably won't deserve. Clinical.
-
Three dreadful games coming up against teams all playing well. I'd take 7 points from the games, but I fear the worst at Marine - hope I'm wrong.
-
For a bottom 6 club, they're in decent nick right now. Unbeaten in any competition throughout November and December .
I still think we'll bring 3 points back but it'll be close.
-
whATS THE PARKING like around the ground , is it safe or am i just being scousist , if i go i will have a car load of very nickable presents and fishing gear ?
otherwise i think my come back maybe witton at home
-
Going for a hard fought 2-1.
Hancock with both goals
Att 500

It's just street parking if you are not an official, but it's a very pleasant and safe area. It is actually under Sefton rather than Liverpool, if you are Scousist.
Having said that, I haven't been there for a few years, so I can bear no responsibility...

Is this a wind up or is it written by someone under the age of 10 who thinks that we’ll be met by 100’s of curly haired tracksuit wearing thieves?
I think to answer your question; ‘yes, you are being Scousist and you may want to swot up on your Geography before setting off’
Ignorance is the path to prejudice.

Crosby is one of the more up market areas of Merseyside so should not be any problems. But be aware that vehicles and contents within are left at owners risk. This even applies on car parks where a charge has been paid.
-
Lots of consistent rain overnight, we've asked for an update on the pitch before travelling. Keep an eye out.
-
Confirmed via Twitter:
PITCH UPDATE - 9.30am
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED WITH FORKS!
Currently some standing water on the pitch following heavy rain. Volunteers neeeded with forks asap to come to MTA to assist with water cleaning. Pitch Inspection arranged for 11.30am. If you can help come!
-
Fair play to Marine for putting in the effort ahead of a potential big gate.
-
Marine 7/2
Draw 16/5
Alty 4/7
-
Shaw lane v Grantham- OFF
-
Google reckon it won't be raining in Crosby after 12 (though it is now !) until 7. Depends if they can clear the standing water by 1130 for the inspection.
-
What's the problem? We have played on a waterlogged pitch at Marine before and won 1 nil. I think it was Monday 2nd December 2002. Rod Thornley missed a penalty and we got the winner with a last minute header from corner that just crossed the line,
-
Another pitch inspection at 1:15
-
IT'S ON!!
On my way.
-
not sure that the state of the pitch will suit Alty one bit today
it is obviously going to be very heavy..
My head says we may get away with a draw. but wouldn't be surprised at something worse...
hope I'm wrong
-
Not a ground where we have ever come away with much in the past. Honestly don't think a draw would be a disaster today, but hoping for 3 points.
-
Well done lads. Keep this going.
-
Every single one of you deserve MOM a very professional performance at a very tricky place to go
Dare I dream of bouncing straight back as Champions.
-
Well, I couldn't go, as I'm away, but if the Radio Robins coverage is anything to go by, we sounded bloody awesome today. A big, well done to PP and all the boys - really thought that today would be a banana skin for us.
-
Interesting to see the Coalville result today, 3-0 defeat at home to Barwell.
If we can keep this run going, we are starting to create a gap between us and the rest. Apart from Shaw Lane, we are seven points ahead now.
A brilliant result, well done boys, I didn't think we have been too convincing of late, with games against Buxton and Warrington, where we struggled, so great to see us back on track.
-
Knowing what a tough place Marine is to visit, that's a very satisfying 3 points. Well done lads!!
-
Excellent all round performance. Everybody played well but James Poole had his best game in weeks, Dens overlapping in the second half was great and Jordan Hulme was class as usual.
-
Highly professional ans solid performance all round, Poole was class as was Hannigan again but they all played very well.
Marine did pose a threat and TT had to make 2 excellent saves which he hasnt had to do of late.
-
Superb effort from all today. Don't think we've played better the season. Love it when Triple H score.
Very difficult to pick my mom but I've gone for Hampson ( the celebration for the 1st goal swung it).
Great turnout from our fans.
Thanks for getting the game on
